Thoughts of a crazy lady
I'm distracted easily. I can't stick to one subject, and I talk about whatever I feel necessary.

Skin Whitening!
Skin whitening, we have all heard about it. Whether it be from stars getting their skinned lightened such as Michael Jackson, or a magazine lightening up African American actor Gabourey Sidibe's skin for their magazine cover. You can see it all over the media, some stars who look like they've had some skin lightening, and TV shows about women who don't feel good enough enough in their own skin, so they use whatever they can to make themselves appear "white" and "beautiful".
I myself would not get skin whitening because unfortunately I'm already too pale. What I would give for some of the skin these ladies have that want the lighter skin. Now, I understand some people might see white skin as the best skin, but it's not one of the safest thing's to do. You could either come out looking like this and if you're lucky and everything goes as planned, you could come out looking like this.
If you are going to whiten your skin, go to a professional, or if you cannot afford that, do a lot, and I mean a lot of research. Look for reviews on the product(s) you are interested in. If there are more a numerous amount of bad ratings, do not do it! Even if there are a lot of good ratings too. Use a product that has the best reviews, because it's your skin, you cannot get new skin, so take care of it. If you would rather buy things that help lighten your skin, instead of using a creme, pill, etc. go here. That seems more like a healthier way of going about it, and if they don't work, they don't work, 9/10 you won't come out with messed up blotchy skin.
When you want to do something, you're going to do it and usually someone can't talk you out of it, but everyone needs to find a way to feel beautiful in their own skin instead of having to change it. I can't give you a link for that, all I can say is experiment. Find things that make you feel content that have lasting effects, but things that don't have a chance of harming you.

Revlon Photo Ready makeup. Never again.
I like makeup. A lot. If I see a new kind out, I want to try it and see if it is as amazing as it claims to be. A lot of makeups claim to be a lot more amazing than what they really are. Such as this one:
I wouldn't say don't try it, but I'm also not going to recommend it. Good luck!
Photo from Amazon
Now, I don't usually have a lot of problems with makeup, I mean sometimes I'm off on the colors I use, or I get a makeup that isn't great on my skin, stuff like that. I don't ever have to contact the company because of something their product did to me, but with Revlon Photo Ready I had to.. I got two colors of this foundation because I couldn't figure out which was mine shade (I happen to get 004 and 006, when I really needed 005!) and I used the lighter one first and noticed my face was burning, and I mean it was bad. I was like what the hell is happening? I washed it off and gave my skin a rest for a little bit then I tried the 006 and it did the same exact thing! I thought my face was melting off, it was so bad. But hey! It has great coverage and makes your skin look okay! Who cares about the burn.
I contacted Revlon about this and I told them the exact thing I just typed up there, and it took them 2 weeks to respond to me, I mean really? That's ridiculous. What if the makeup had done serious damage? They finally did respond to me though, and they wrote one sentence.. It took 2 weeks to write a sentence to me saying "Hi, we got your comment and if you will send the product to us we will refund your money, thanks! Revlon". Thanks for caring, Revlon! I guess it's nice of them to offer to give my money back, but actually I just want some foundation that doesn't burn and in the right color.
This makeup might work for some people, but sadly it didn't work for me. If it had not burned, I would be using it all the time, because other than that, I do like it. Here's what's good about it:
- It is light on the skin and not cakey.
- It covers so good. Just as good as the expensive kinds.
- Your pores don't look so bad if you use the powder, also.
- It doesn't smell bad like most other makeup.
- A little goes a very long way!
I wouldn't say don't try it, but I'm also not going to recommend it. Good luck!

Border agent shot and killed.
This is a couple of days old, but it's still getting to me!

Note: This is mostly about the comments posted on the article.
Now, I feel terrible about Agent Brian A. Terry's death, it's a shame that has to happen to anyone, and I feel for his family, but the comment's on this article are becoming all about Mexicans being worthless. What does that have to do about anything? That shows what Americans really care about, talking as much crap as they can instead of trying to help bring justice.
People seem to think if you're Mexican this is your fault, even if you had nothing to do with it! I understand, Mexicans should not come over illegally, they should do it the legal way, but I'm not sure if any of us but the Mexicans understand how hard it really is. What about the Mexicans who come over here just to work and take care of their families? What if they can't afford to come here and they have no other choice? What if they DID save up and paid what they had to pay and were still denied? People say "oh well" but that's because they do have freedom and live a pretty decent life. They don't understand, and I can't say I do either, but I like to see their sides too.
Okay, I got off subject. Anyways, the comments are proposterous, and I'm pretty sure people are just using this article and articles like it to bash a person or group of people instead of actually commenting on what has happened. There was a loss, whoever did it needs to be caught, and this person happens to be part of the drug cartel. Maybe people should focus on trying to take down the drug cartel instead of people who have nothing to do with it and are trying to get away from them! They should not be punished for the drug cartels actions because the drug cartel will harm their own people if they are in the way of what is wanted. Think about that!
Someone commented on the blog saying something about maybe we should take our troops out of the Middle East and put them to work here, with this problem. That may be a good idea, only if they were doing it with this mindset "Get the good out and get rid of the bad". Sadly that wont be the case, though. They will go in with the mindset of "Kill anyone who tries to come over illegally". I don't think anyone should be killed like that.. It just doesn't seem right.
Another lady said this "your comment makes it clear, not only that you don't care at all about a real American border patrol worker being murdered by a Mexican national but, your generalization that "none of you would care" is bigoted, anti-American prejudiice." I care, I really do, and she failed to see the first comment I made about Mr. Terry and his family. She just saw what she wanted to see. I said what I had to say about that and let it go, but I kept up with this all day and the racial comments just kept pouring in and it was ridiculous, so I continued with my opinions, and we already know what I think about that so lets not.
Last but not least, someone left this comment and it was rude but I found it pretty funny: "Illegal immigration isn't anything new. The indians called it: white people." Haha! I mean, he isn't wrong is he? But no, that doesn't matter to our fellow Americans, they belong here in their minds. Maybe the Mexicans feel the same way?
All in all, if Americans want something done about this, stop being lazy, get off your asses and do something. Stop complaining in comments. If killing is your way of handling it, then okay, have fun in hell. If you have a more civil way of taking care of it, then more power to you!
I was all over the place in this, but it really is hard to stay on one thing when there is so many things to talk about!
